- ABOUT FELIX
Felix the Fox is a rallying call to all those who wish to keep on hunting. Felix aims to keep hunting in the public spotlight via supporting hunts and carrying on hunting until the Hunting Act is repealed.
The greatest threat to the Hunting Act is prolonged public awareness through the use of humour and ridicule to expose the government and the unworkable Act it has passed.
These efforts are much more than mockery, they represent the rural underbelly of this country that will not lie down and accept the way in which the Countryside is being treated. n
All fund raised go to the FightTheBan Support Fund. This fund has been set up to assist with the payment of legal fees for those prosecuted under the Hunting Act. Excess funds are dontaed to the Hunt Servants Benefit Society.
- Hunts
- Foxhunting as a sport is the hunting of the fox in its wild and natural state with a pack of hounds. Nothing must be done which in any way compromises this rule.
Hunting exists entirely because of the goodwill of landholders and farmers. No-one who goes hunting should do anything that might jeopardise this goodwill. It must be remembered that for most of a day's hunting you are a guest on someone else's land.
Masters of Foxhounds, (i.e. those in charge of a hunt), or their appointed deputies, are solely responsible for the conduct of each day's hunting and are bound by the strict rules and instructions of the MFHA. Their authority is absolute and their instructions must always be willingly obeyed.
