- Ghost of the Robot has an international following, websites built by fans and gigs at Hollywood's hottest nightclubs. Not bad for a band that's been together for about a year and has just one self-released album album to its name. Then again, most upstart groups don't have one of television's best-known bloodsuckers for its frontman. Ghost of the Robot is led by James Marsters, who plays the poet-turned-vampire character "Spike" on Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
The alternative-rock band is filled out by a crew of Sacramentans (bassist Kevin McPherson and drummer Aaron Anderson) and Sacramentans via Los Angeles (guitarist/keyboardist Steve Sellers and guitarist Charlie DeMars).
Connecting with Marsters started in Los Angeles, where the Buffy co-star was one of Sellers' neighbors. DeMars had moved down south to live with Sellers, his stepbrother, and Ghost of the Robot quickly took shape. Along with Sellers, DeMars recruited McPherson and Anderson, his bandmates in Power Animal, to form ghost of the robot. this page was made by isla3h6.
