The news the Pajero fans (slugs) have been dreading has become a reality, Pajero will be splitting up in the summer of 2007. After the departure of Julian from Pajero to support Jackie Wilson on his Reet Petite tour, the band has struggled to find a replacement for Julians unique guitar dynamic. Remaining Pajero band members Brian Horne and Russell Lang have tried in vain to find the inspiration to record a new Julianless Pajero album, unfortunately the inspiration never came and the final nail in the coffin to the bluegrass funk ska death-metal pioneers came when it was announced that Russell Lang had given up music and rockin' altogether become a nun at the monastry of MacLean. The only consolation that the slugs can take from this travesty is that Brian Horne will continue to Rock on in his solo project Drop Dead Fred which plans to release its first album "Nicorettes and Panadol" in August 2007. R.I.P. Pajero....in the words of ABBA "Thank you for the music, the songs we're singing, thanks for all the joy you're bringing...."

Brian - Things are going well on putting some tracks down for Slug em all (our debut album). Currently staying in a flat in Finnieston Me, Jules and rusty are tightening up our set for the approaching gig at Archie Lang Bowl. The untimely death of our drummer due to a freak accident involving a pick up, truck 9 penguins and a twister ice lolly hurts but we'll be ready to treat our fans to some metal mayhem when the halloween show comes by. All in all we're just rockin'out and slugging out. Keep Pajero in your heart and Jack Daniels in your belly and we'll see you on the 28th of October
