    • the good old flynn days...

      so i was back in edinburgh this weekend and it got me thinking about all the stupid things me and my lovely family used to do... having 5 flynn girls in the family made us a bit crazy. aside from watching the sound of music and blackadder a lot (haha) can any of my fellow flynnsters remember the good old days when...

      i was baby spice, claire was sporty, bobe was ginger (spice lol), leigh was posh and poor gayle was stuck being scary?! haha

      not to mention thinking we were all kylie minogue when she was dressed in different outfits for the 'never too late video' (to be seen in my flashbox) i was clearly miss red dress kylie, claire was that greenish dress, leigh was the black dress with all the glitter, gayle was the cowgirl and bobe was that weird hippy outfit lolol

      the time claire ran in with a poster of take that and says 'pick one of these guys to like stacey' her hand was covering mark and gayles covering robbie, i was pleased anyway i would have picked gary over and over again, so little bobe ended up with jason (who is now very hot, well done bobe lol) and leigh was very happy with howard (keeping in mind she also fancies suggs from madness) haha

      we had all our games of sharades at xmas which once resulted in grandad putting a boiled egg in uncle brett's face, our trips to kirkton manor "you guys are shit!", watching videos of our parties on the night we'd actually filmed them (lolol) poor bobe hearing her dad sleep talking "night chaps, you can take your foot out in the morning" then going safely back to her bed only to hear "boom boom" being said by claire form her side of the bedroom haha our gran wearing her clip on earrings pretty much on her neck as that's the only place it feels comfortable on her ear (not in the normal place u put earrings) 'why don't you just not wear them if they hurt you?' 'because i wanna be a real woman!' claire telling her she had a 60's hairdo and saying 'good yin bawbags' to her and 'ur trippin' to us, claire's rota as to when we were allowed to sit on the stools at grans' house and us teaching her what a rimjob is! "oh it's something to do with your bum"

      my dad's wild schemes have always made us laugh, there was the cowboy dream in america, moving to spain and amsterdamn and coming home b4 claire had returned from her 2 week holday lolol oh and the crocodile models he was gonna make! the time he decided he wanted a new jacket... abanoning the idea of getting a new leather jacket which is what we were all happy with he wanted a baseball jacket which should be black with gold sleeves... yes that's right gold sleeves, needless to say he did end up getting a new jacket... a new leather one, he can thank me later! claire and bobe's dad is not much better, remember the time he was really drunk and thanked mr lithgow for planting the seed in me claire robyn and gayle in primary school? he meant 'the seed of learning' lol

      and of course not to forget the time i peed in the bin... i was sleepwalking ok!!! then we have a recent one when we were in the rainbow, a woman comes up and is like 'what would you like to order?' she goes away and i say "who's that?" haha it wasn't some random like i'd thought, it was someone who worked there
