The Commonwealth Bank Foundation seeks to encourage developments in education, in particular the financial literacy skills of young Australians and aims to create awareness, skill and understanding of the benefits of a more financially literate community.

The Foundation builds on the Bank’s community activities and contributions of more than 70 years in education and financial literacy. These include the Bank’s Student Banking program introduced in 1931 to teach young people the basic skills of money management and encouraging them to save.

Travisty Anus Of The Year
Red Dog Macpherson saw out 2007 as the inaugural recipient of the Travisty Anus of the Year Award, Bebos most prestigeous award. With nominations in, the decisison for this years Anus was definatley a tough one. Reigning champion Red Mac was the favourite at $1.20 for the win. Tim Simpson came in at $2.20 while Jord Travers was at $2.70 to win.
Bookies were hurrying to take in their bets as competition began to heat up.
During the year we have seen all parties strengthen and damage there campaigns
for the award. Red Dog got whipped, Jman got cheated on, Timpson got sleazy, Red
Dog got whipped.
However, after a year of controversy, adversity and pizza there is realisticly only one true
Anus. The recipient for the Travisty Anus of The Year, recieving the award for the first time.
