I had my baby boy on February 28th, 2009 at 10:31PM and he weighed 9lbs. 8oz. He was a healthy boy; still is. Baby James will be 8 months by halloween. He is around 22 lbs. and super long. He is the most happiest baby in the world. Loves eating solids, has to eat everything we do :)
I just love spending every minute with him. He is growing so fast! He already wants to walk around. So brave and strong!! I love him with all my heart!!

  • 6 months of joy!

    Wow, My baby is already 6 months old! I cant believe where the time goes! I have enjoyed every minute of it. From smiling faces, to dirty diapers, and even to sleepless nights. Every thing is worth it in the end.
    He is going for his immunization tomorrow. I think he is weighing atleast 20 lbs now!! He is not so little anymore! He's got 2 teeth and some more on the way. He is eating solids with us now. Loves daddy's cooking! :) Almost sitting up on his own [he just knows his mommy will help him :P ] He is stronger then ever, i cant get over it. When he wants attention, he sure knows how to get it. He's got us wrapped around his little finger. I love my son.
    I will be starting school in January, which i am really excited for. Have to upgrade, but eventually want to work towards getting a diploma in ECCE.
    It will be mine and James' 2 years anniversary in September. It has been the best 2 years of my life. James and I have such a wonderful relationship. We have both made eachother better people. He is my rock. Such an amazing father. He is everything I hoped for in a man. Faithful, Loving, Caring, to name a few. I love waking up to him every day.

    In life you have to get past all the gossip and jelousy. You have to keep telling yourself that you know what is and isnt true. People will always talk. Thats a part of life. Stories will always be changed, and you have to chose not to let it get to you. There will always be another girl that is jelous of you, someone out to ruin your life. I have experienced it first hand by many of these evil girls in Duncan. Why can't people be satisfied with what they got. Instead they have to go out and manipulate the system, lying to whoever they have to. Some women will never be happy. And they try to put the blame on others. You make decisions, you live with them. Dont turn around and change your story. Trying to just ride the welfare train all your life. Some people are pathetic.

  • Update

    Wow time has sure gone by so quick lately. It seems just like a month ago i found out i was pregnant. And now there is only like 73 days left!!! Crazzzy. I am getting so excited. Last week of work for me. Im going to miss working. Ive been at this job since '06 and i love my fellow co-workers. Gonna be weird waking up and not coming to work. But im going to have a whole different job soon enough :D I just cant wait!

    My little baby sure has a mind of its own already. We are already on different sleeping patterns. Baby will be pretty still throughout the day [the odd kicking here and there] and then when i get home to relax and ready for bed, he moves around like crazy, kicking and punching... But what an amazing feeling. I love sitting there at night with James just watching baby move around. :D :D :D

    Christmas is just around the corner. I got most of my shopping done. Just the last couple of ppl on the list. I just love the holidays. Especially the food <3 mmmmm, stuffing is my favorite.. hehehe...
    Cant wait for baby shopping. We will probably get it done at the end of January. Get the room ready for the arrival of our bundle of joy. My mom is super stoked to bring me shopping. She has been really excited from the start too. Her first grandchild. My baby will be the fifth generation on my mom's side. Which is really rare these days. So as soon as he/she is here, we want to get my great grandma, my grandma, my mom, me and the baby together for portraits. I would love that.
    I am hoping for a girl, but when it comes down to it, i really dont care. I'll consider myself blessed no matter what the sex of the baby.

  • First 'buck'

    Well last night James and I went to 'W' line to check out the hills.

    It started out slow; we were just seeing does. Then we saw a glimpse of a buck, but he was too fast. He heard me cock the gun, and he was over the hill before i got out of the tracker.

    Just when we thought our luck ran dry, and the fog was going to get us, we saw one...
    I cocked my gun right away, and jumped out of the tracker. As soon as James flashed the light on him, i could see he was pretty big, but couldnt see a rack.
    I noticed his orange eyes, so i thought 'im just gonna shot anyway'--- so i did... i took my first shot at an animal!!

    It was such a rush, i heard it hit him, it sounded like a big *thump*--- it was really neat actually!!

    After the first one, i looked at James to see what he thought i should do..and all he said was "keep shooting babe!", so i did... I shot again...and again... and again... and one more time...

    I think out of the 5 shots, i hit him 3 times... Took out both his front legs, and once on a back leg.

    So once we thought he was down and out, we started up the hill to collect the prize. As we were walking up, James stops to see where he was...All of a sudden, his head pops up... and James yells "It's a spike babe" and i looked and all i could see was his big ears sticking up!

    I was surprised because i thought he was going to run away.. but when he tried to get up, he fell down right away again... It was funny watching him struggle to get up as we got closer and closer...
    Soon enough he gave up and just layed there... wasnt much more he could do...

    So we stood there for a while just looking at him... i must admit, after watching some of those video's on you-tube, i was kinda afraid to get any closer... then James walked right up to him and finshed him off...
    But he was a fighter... after the shot to the head, his legs were still trying to kick... although only the back ones were moving, it looked like he was still trying to run away... lying on his side, and his legs were still moving!! Neat to see, but a little freaky at the same time!!

    We let him stuggle for a couple more minutes, then soon enough he was finished...

    So we drug him back to the tracker, and James did the rest of the dirty work... and we called it a night!

    Ill never forget it... so happy James is teaching me everything he knows! I never thought i would shot a deer! Even though it was just a spike, still good for the first time!! :D
