- well I have 2 beautiful kids with my best friend of almost 11 years,1 dog "Timber",I am currently on E.I,I pretty much stay away from negative people,I am going back to my traditional ways which is a new way of life for me now,I know i am a more postive person towards my family,friends & my kids since i quit drinking about 11 months now & i never felt any better,its juss to bad i had to lose the things i cherished most in my life to finally quit,but today is what im living for now.my kids & man are my main focus for now.....

hey you all !!!
well most of you's know me & to keep ya all updated on my progress,i am now on my 10 month mark of soberity,im hanging in there ,which i thought i would have a few slip-ups but with the support of all who is supporting me ,including my friends,family,& of course,my precious babies,im hanging in strong,well i recently quit diet pop,im also going on my a lil over a month mark on that,which is kinda hard,when i have pop in my house every day { my b.f drinks alot of pop}well i cant wait for powwow's this year,im gonna try to go the powwow trail but not sure yet ,im real busy during that time of year,anyways,i gtg,and no need to worry,im doing good!!!!!!!!!!

The day,i knew you were gone was like
a knife piercing thru' my heart
my whole world came tumbling down
with no rope to hang on to,my heart was
broken like your porceline dolls and model cars
you hang on your walls,my arms were
closed cause i would'nt dare open for fear you
would be lost,
you see,my darlings,my life wasnt as perfect as
i thought it once was,so now i tell you my story;
the day was clearly as if it was yesterday,that one
drink lead to another & than another until my world
got outta control,i didnt realize i had a problem til
people who came and took you's from me,it took me
a while to realize my life wasnt complete without my
babies in my life,so i took that path to recovery and
understood that mommy had a disease thats not curable
but i can say that as long as i have this second chance at
being a mommy,i will never let you leave my side again,
i have your answered prayers,son.in my heart,for they
will be kept safe inside as your little hearts still are....
this comes straight from my heart and my love for you two
will always be kept,sheltered from pain & fear,
YOU TWO ARE MY WORLD,MY AIR,MY LIFE & EVERYTHING

Omg,im on my 4 month mark
which means i have done so much since i last wrote in here,well 1st of all i was in rehab in maria,quebec for 25 wonderful days,it was a very good experience & i advise everyone to go seek help if they wanna quit drinking,well to put it lightly,i have quit drinking for a lil over 4 months now & i couldnt be more happier,with all the support i have,the friends & family i thought were gonna reject me has been there with me all the while,thru' my ups & downs.i didnt quite find it hard to quit like everyone else does but like i said ,the support i have ,is totally awesome & very helpful.and if my rehab friends are reading this to,i would like to say "thanks for always being there when i need a shoulder to cry on,or a tissue to wipe my tears,or that pat on the back,saying" you can hang in there,ruby,we know u can " cause you see,i never been away from my family or friends for so long,i missed them dearly & at times i thought i couldnt manage wihtout them or live without them.but the guys there were more like brothers than juss ordinary guys from different rezs.so now i did make it thru'the long month and i am at home back in P.E.I now.
