- Linked by the influencin sounds of Ash in 2001 Ryan McCloskey and Conor Doherty have been playin guitar 2gether since then! As there abilities improved they became members of a small derry based band, Echoside, but decided 2 go it alone in sept 2003 with the additions of schoolmates Vincent Gray and Diarmuid Gallagher Ivy were born. They band have been playin around the northwest scene in northern Ireland since then and over the past three years minor changes have happened 2the band with Chris Elliott takin over in drums and Maria Cutliffe playin Keyboards and Guitar. The changes in turn have led to an improvement in the music. Ivy continue to produce quality sounds and are hopin 2 do some recordin later this summer!!
