  • Beatles - Got To Get You Into My Life Lyrics

    I was alone, I took a ride,
I didn't know what I would find there
Another road where maybe I could see another kind of mind there

Ooh, then I suddenly see you,
Ooh, did I tell you I need you
Every single day of my life

You didn't run, you didn't lie
You knew I wanted just to hold you
And had you gone you knew in time we'd meet again
    For I had told you

Ooh, you were meant to be near me
Ooh, and I want you hear me
Say we'll be together every day

Got to get you into my life

What can I do, what can I be,
When I'm with you I want to stay there
If I'm true I'll never leave
And if I do I know the way there

Ooh, then I suddenly see you,
Ooh, did I tell you I need you
Every single day of my life

Got to get you into my life
Got to get you into my life

    I was alone, I took a ride,
I didn't know what I would find there
Another road where maybe I could see another kind of mind there

    Then suddenly I see you,
Did I tell you I need you..

"Choose life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a fucking big television, Choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players, and electrical tin openers. Choose good health, low cholesterol and dental insurance. Choose fixed- interest mortgage repayments. Choose a starter home. Choose your friends. Choose leisure wear and matching luggage. Choose a three piece suite on hire purchase in a range of fucking fabrics. Choose DIY and wondering who you are on a Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing sprit- crushing game shows, stuffing fucking junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pishing you last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked-up brats you have spawned to replace yourself. Choose your future. Choose life... But why would I want to do a thing like that?"

"The weekend has landed. All that exists now is clubs, drugs, pubs and parties. I've got 48 hours off from the world, man. I'm gonna blow steam out my head like a screaming kettle, I'm gonna talk cod shit to strangers all night, I'm gonna lose the plot on the dancefloor. The free radicals inside me are freakin', man! Tonight I'm Jip Travolta, I'm Peter Popper, I'm going to never-never land with my chosen family, man. We're gonna get more spaced out than Neil Armstrong ever did, anything could happen tonight, you know? This could be the best night of my life. I've got 73 quid in my back burner - I'm gonna wax the lot, man! The Milky Bars are on me! Yeah!"

"We are all wired into a survival trip now.No more of the speed that fueled that 60's.That was the fatal flaw in Tim Leary's trip.He crashed around America selling "consciousness expansion" without ever giving a thought to the grim meat-hook realities that were lying in wait for all the people who took him seriously All those pathetically eager acid freaks who thought they could buy.Peace and Understanding for $3 a hit. But their loss and failure is ours too. What Leary took down with him was the central illusion of a whole life-style that he helped create.a generation of permanent cripples, failed seekers, who never understood the essential old-mystic fallacy of the Acid Culture:the desperate assumption that somebody or at least some force-is tending the light at the end of the tunnel."

No idea if it's 32 or 64 bit, I'll know when I set it up I guess. The inverse to you, I'm really on top of skool work at the minute, sat down for an hour yesterday and worked at the physics online assignment due for 11 tonight and got 100% and in a break between classes this morning I went to the library and done a lab report due on Thursday whereas I'd been doing the previous 2 reports into the wee hours the Wednesday night. Financially I'm set for life provided I die next Tuesday, I've even got a savings account down here making 4% interest and home insurance. Rent is due though, so there's a nice €275 bill to pay. But aye, fuck all that, next week should be great. 2k9 babes!

Too late with the computer advice, ordered it last Saturday and it arrived on Friday, haven't seen it yet but it's pretty good, 2.7 GHz dual core processor, 4 gig of ram, TB hard drive and the graphics are good too but I can't remember exactly what. Fantastic Mr. Fox is good aye, one of the very few good films I've seen lately, want to go see the Cove some day this week. Technically I don't see them for free because you pay like €240 for 12 months unlimited movies, but if I were to pay in as a student an individual ticket is €8 so 30 films and it pays for itself and I've been to see like 13 or 14 in a month and a half. Reading week is next week so I'll have 9 days off from Saturday on, won't be heading up north until Sunday though because Arsenal are live on ESPN on Saturday afternoon and we're buying the David Haye fight that night too, but yeah, I'll head to Belfast some weekday during that too.

AfTeRtHoUgHtS: 1. Isn't a tin of Harp 440ml up North? It's 500 here, it's INSANE. 2. Clubs here always play You Can Call Me Al for some reason, you'd like that.

Working is good times man and I wish I still had that income now, though it's a drain on your time too like. Money situation isn't too bad though, I went 3 days without spending a cent but then you just go out and spend like €40 in a night easy which kind of undoes the good work. Me and James decided to buy a new PC this evening too which is another 300 each which mightn't have been prudent financially, but fuck it. Fantastic Mr. Fox is good though, very Wes Anderson-y, and Zombieland is top 5 for the year material. Have you seen The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus yet? It's appallingly poor I thought. I can see anything for free, been to like 13 films since I got here and there's a real nice bar in the cinema, yessss. But yeah, definitely need to get a night out at some point, even if it isn't Halloween. Organise a psytrance party in your room and I'll go to it.

I know aye, I barely use it either, but I can't leave messages on your Facebook for some reason, so, yanno. Was out last night at Spy- which is the WORST club I have ever been in, was meeting ones and they said we should go there and it was having a gay night, no fun at all- and Garret's just out of bed there, it's 4pm, so he's surviving but on like 12 hours sleep a day, it's ridiculous. Do need to get a night out though, definitely. As for Halloween, was thinking about doing Blues Brothers maybe, but more than likely I'm going to buy a child's pirate costume in a pound shop down the road. What day does Halloween fall on, Saturday? I could maybe head up to Belfast next weekend for it. But aye, going to head here, going to take a shower and go see Fantastic Mr. Fox in a bit, hope the induction goes well. 2k9 babes!

Well lad, was going to give you a shout on Facebook there but your page is krazy. Much craic in Belfast this week? Was out at Basebar last night with Finnegan and got absolutely destroyed, don't even want to estimate the money I spent, but ran into Paddy McBride, Aoibhinn and Bryan McNally at it, was a deadly night. You all need to come down for a weekend I reckon. Went to see David O'Doherty on Thursday night too, really funny guy. See Fionn Regan's in Belfast on Tuesday, you should definitely go see him. Trinity's Freshers' Ball's that night too, should be good, and the Field's at Tripod on Thursday. Anyhow, there is a point to all this ramblin', which is did you get me a ticket for Marcus du Sautoy next Sunday? If not, don't get me one, but if you already have I'll still be able to go and pay you for it, just don't really want to see him now. 2k9 babes !

Aye, it was supposed to be today I think, but I got no word so I can only assume it didn't go ahead. And aye, I like that too, especially when the consensus with regards the new profile seems to have been overwhelmingly positive and all. But yeah, go to the Bailey tomorrow man, it'll probably be deadly. Definitely.

CAO never received Garret's A-level grades so he had to go to the Academy yesterday to gather up as much proof of grades as he could and then go off to Galway to CAO's head offices. His ma said she'd get him to give me a ring last night but he never did and I don't want to ring the house again today, he really needs to get himself a direct line of communication. He has 4 As like, it doesn't seem as though media studies is actually a big issue, so if this hadn't happened he should definitely have got in, all up in the air now. The deadline for accepting offers is 5.15 today, doubt that the same deadline could still apply to him now though. And aye, the Indian party was on Saturday night there. The amount of food was ridiculous, not even a quarter of it ate and the host got offended by that, but aw, it was fantastic food all the same, the curry and some pork dish in particular. Not so good the following morning though, digestive tract clean fucked.

Are you going to go see The Tallest Man on Earth on the 10th? Checking out the Jane Bradfords on Last.fm here who are supporting him, they're really good too. If I go it'll probably be my last night out in Belfast before Dublin :( Oh, you're invited to Rory's house warming party this Thursday too, he asked me to pass on. Much craic with you otherwise? Watched Control and the Graduate today, both very good with class soundtracks.
