Camping for camps!
We climbed the big mountain yesterday wearing my casual sandles! Went off track and fell a couple of times and scraped myself to bits. Had a fight with a thorn bush and lost but at the end we found this beautiful little cove. Played Tennis, tortured some crabs and got hammered on the aforementioned homemade wine which we mixed with Cola to make "Bambi". When pissed we decided to try and get back round the other side and find some nightlife. Got another two litres of wine and for the first time since we left were properly wasted. Talked to some English girls in a bar who were about as much fun as Cricket. So in our pissed wisdom, after spilling the wine we brought in everywhere, we decided to steal the cushions and throws from the bar which proved to be a stroke of genius. We headed back on to the street and talked to some more people then found a park where we pitched the tent surprisingly easily. Woke up in the tent which must have been about 800 degrees and slept outside. Surprisingly not hungover we are heading to Hvar today, a little island off the coast to do some more climbing and see what we can see. Dead impressed by Croatia so far. Been to Zagreb before and it was a dive but Split is gorgeous.0 Comments 316 weeks

Split, Croatia
Landed in Split this morning after sleeping outside on the ferry. Beautiful little city. Visited the old city walls and went to an open air market. Weather was beautiful this morning but there's now a thunderstorm so we're gonna climb over a mountain and camp at the other side at a beach. Ocean in the rain, superb!! Bought some home made croatian wine which is pretty lethal!! Gonna buy home made schnapps tomorrow when we head to Hvar an island that is apparantly beautiful and has some beauriful little islands off it. The nightlife is supposed to be good there too so we'll see. People seem pretty friendly and will happily take time to talk to you. Anton is understanding a lot as it isn't a million miles from Slovenian which is just as well because I've understood about 3 words!0 Comments 316 weeks

Was hoping to be back a few times in August but now moving to a new flat (2 floors, nice central area, roof top terrace!!!) so have pay 3 months rent in advance so my trips back have to unfortunately wait til late September now! not bad son, not bad at all! Been lucky enough to go to France, Portugal, Spain and back to Italy again, everything paid for! In Denmark til June 13th then heading back over to Madrid and hopefully getting a new flat sorted out. Need to start going back to Scotland a bit more to see friends and family so going to try make a visit every 3 weeks or so from now on so Il see you there if not Madrid...catch ya soon man!
Hope you can make it along on the 14th ... be warned tho, that psycho sis of mine will be there
