Hello...

So we have quite a wee bit to tell you about in this rather exiting installment of The Tuesday Night girls blog!

First of all we should mention how well the o2 Academy gig went, the crowd were totally amazin! So our stage time was quarter to 11 so everyone in the crowd had some time to get nice and drunk before we come on which made everyone a little more receptive towards us I guess.

So quarter to 11 arrives and as usual gig's start to run late and we where rushing to get set up, in this blind panic I misplaced a lead but thanks to Jonny and the Gyro’s borrowed a very pretty yellow lead, in this what I felt quite stressful couple of minutes Keef was chuffed as he found it amusing that we were setting up to the sound of Ladyhawke, Hamie checked out if his dad costume was all good after previous worries about forgetting his belt thankfully Needles stepped in with a little grey cloth number that did the trick nicely, Needles sat on his stool and gave one last hangover sigh trying to conjure up enough energy to hit the drums in front of him for half a hour wondering if he should take his top off as promised to many a female before the show (he didn't ) and I plugged in all my stuff and listened to several people shouting stuff at us the usual favorites where there like "U WANTIN PUMPED!!!" and "THE BASS PLAYER IS SEXY" but there some new ones which I recognized from the tourettes program on the BBC last week like "UP TO MY KNEES IN FUCKIN COW PAT!!!" and "YOUR DUG'S GOT TITS!!!".... I know its funny but seriously the Tuesday Night Girls do not condone such actions....lol

So Jim Galletly.. Gallatly??? Ah fuck knows you know who I mean did his intro "and here are the Tuesday Night Girls!!" the crowd goes wild!! Dirty House Party started off the set followed by a further 25 mins of our tunes. It was really fun having so much room to prance about on, although on a couple of occasions I did get a bit to exited especially at the start of Sleeping With Strangers but Hamie was there to calm me down and since he was dressed like a dad he had a strange authority over everyone! (Later on at the after party he sent Wee Joke to his room because he ate too much cheese and he was to think about how selfish he had been). So we dusted off the set with our new tune Needles and that was that.

The after party at the flat was hilarious, the usual fighting at the PC to get tunes on, smoking a lot, Craig David/Backstreet Boys/DJ Pied Piper/Will Smith/Akon Sing-along’s, Silly Photos, Serious conversations, Confessions, Dancing and keepy up-ies were the key factors which seen me staying up til round about half 6 in the am with Woogi and myself swuggin a bottle of horrible sparkling white wine surrounded by a bunch of sleepy people, so I admitted defeat and KO'ed on the couch where as Woogi put 3 plastic chairs in a line and used that as a bed (WTF??)

So I would like to thank everyone who came and made such a good nite!!

So as you can hear the E.P is sounding great and the bebo/myspace is looking all great thanks to micheal and the engineer guy at maybank studios. The next step is gigs, more gigs and fans so if you like us join our friends list.

We are going into the studio to record our as-yet un-named E.P. We have already decided on two of the songs that will be going on it ourselves, but we want YOU, the fans to decide the third. We have set-up a poll on the site for YOU to vote for the song YOU want on the CD. So voting and we'll keep YOU up-to-date with the goings on before and after the recording.
