Christmas once again finds the trees cut, the lights up and family making trips to work very hard in preparation to sit around eating, watching TV and slathering presents upon loved ones. It is always a mind trip to me that so often our holidays leave us more exhausted than before we took them. This Christmas is a short one unfortunately (one day home in Ashland) before heading back up to Eugene. Mikey and I have to work early Monday. But I somehow managed to get in all my shopping on Saturday before driving down, two evenings with the family, a night stop by the Black Sheep and the Vinyl Club for black and tans, darts and dancing, eating, movies, present-ing and preparation for the upcoming week. Not bad for a smoosilybadiboee. Of course the consistant abuse of uppers, cigarettes and coffee might have helped.
