In less than a week I will see my sister! She is coming down for Thanksgiving and our annual after Thanksgiving shopping spree. We stuff our selves and then go to the outlets at midnight. Our wonderful husbands go along and we all have a blast. I CAN"T WAIT!!!!!!!

Kennedy is in 4th grade. In 4th grade all the classes are involved in 4-H. They 4th graders had to write a speech and give it in front of the class. The gentleman over the 4-H was there to judge them. 3 students were chosen out of each class to compete against other 4th graders in the county. Kennedy is one of the 3. Kennedy's speech is on the miracles of Jesus. I didn't think they would let her write it let alone compete at county. I am soo proud of Kennedy. She is definitly not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Has a miracle ever happened to you ? Have you ever had something happen you just can not explain? When I say the word miracle what comes to your mind? Today I am going to tell you what I think of when I think of the word miracle. Two of the miracles I have read about in the Bible. The last miracle is one that involves me.

When I think of the word miracle I think of Jesus. All through the Bible we are told of many miracles he done. One of the miracles I think of is how Jesus healed the blind man. The way Jesus performs miracles sometimes are not the way we would do it. In this case Jesus spit on the ground and made mud, then he put the mud on the mans eyes. The man then washed the mud off his eyes then he could see. It might sound gross to you but the man was able to see after that.

Another well known miracle Jesus performed was on a man named Lazarus. Lazarus was Jesus’ good friend. While Jesus was out preaching the gospel Lazarus became very, very sick. Lazarus’s sisters sent a message to Jesus to tell him Lazarus was sick. Jesus came back a few days later and was told Lazarus had been dead four days. Jesus told them to take him were Lazarus was laid. Jesus had them roll back the stone that was covering the opening to the tomb. Jesus yelled out “Lazarus come forth”. Lazarus came out healthy as can be.


The last miracle I want to tell you about is very close to me. The miracle is about my mommy. When she was born she did not have bones from her pelvic to her knees. The doctor said my mom would have to have lots of surgeries and if she did walk she would use crutches and drag her legs. He also said she would never have children. One night a missionary at church prayed for her. The very next time she went to the Dr. bones showed up on the X-rays. Now my mom is healed and she is blessed with two children. That would be me and my brother Grant.

I hope today I have made you think about miracles. I believe everyone of us is a miracle. You may not have been healed of blindness, risen from the dead or was crippled and now can walk but everyone of us is a miracle from God

I know, I know October is not over yet and I already have a Christmas skin LOL. I love Christmas. Chris has told the kids and I we cannot get our Christmas stuff out till the that awful holiday Halloween is over So come Nov 1st I am dragging Christmas stuff out.(Just wanted to warn you Chris) I love this time of year. The caroling, the making of candies, Hot chocolate, Metamora (which we haven't been able to go since we moved to TN) Riding around looking at Christmas lights, Giving presents, and most importantly celebrating the birth of our Savior.

All that being said I have a question. When do you put up your Christmas decorations?
