- i grew up in lincln, ne and moved to grand island, ne when i was 10 years old. my entire life has been a freaking nightmare. my mom turned to alcohal after she lost the cutody battle with her ex-husband over my 2 little sisters, every night there was a different guy in her bed or she was in some other guy's bed, i never knew where i could find her. i commited suicide in ma of 2004 nad was at bryan lgh in lincol, ne for at least 2 weeks. i told them i would never live with my mom again, and i never have since. i was placed in foster care and am now close to being completely out of the system. i spent my seet16 locked up, and life hasn't been the same since.
