Me, Myself, and I
Well managed to get off the island again. In Aberdeen now attempting a crack at the motor trade posing as a sleazy car salesman, well, car salesman anyway, sleazy days are over!! Spent 5 years in Perth doing music, working in phone shop, designer clothes shops and a couple of stints in the pr and marketing banter of Sportsters nightclub. Missing the music, needing to get in a band again, missing playing big gigs.
Had a bit of a whirlwind start to Aberdeen, folk getting sacked or leaving work left right and centre, branch closing, getting lost countless times driving about (even in company car with sat nav)!! and generally acquainting myself suitably with the local bars and clubs! Got myself a nice pad with an Aberdeen defender for a neighbour! Could be worse, he could be a hun!

Music
An indie/rock kid at heart. Oasis, stone roses, the libertines, ocean colour scene(early stuff), radiohead(early stuff), shed seven, the strokes, arctic monkeys, kasabian, primal scream, dicky ashcroft and the verve, delays, bloc party etc. Also partial to a bit of house, dance, r&b, jazz, big band and classical.
Enjoy playing guitar, bass, saxophone, piano/keyboards, drums and singing.
Films
Any Tarantino film, most Adam Sandler films, the original Pink Panther films, Green Street, Goodfellas, Rain Man, Usual Suspects, Scarface to name but a few.
TV - Faulty Towers, Allo Allo, Open All Hours, Only Fools and Horses, good old comedies etc.
Sports
Participate - Athletics(once upon a time 100, 200 and 400m runner), football, don't mind a bit of snooker, badminton and squash too. Watch - Not far off anything.
Scared Of
Not seeing Scotland at another world cup for a long time, heights, flying and wasps.
Happiest When
Sitting in the pub with a wee bottle watching either Celtic or Man United, going to bed, watching friends, having a good feed, playing a gig in front of a big crowd, in a decent clothes shop with plenty money to spend, sitting at 5 in the morning with Riddle and Keasty playing Robin Hood on the guitar.
Can't Stand
Getting up in the morning, seeing Celtic or Man United lose, needless and pointless bebo forwards, having no signal on your mobile, Orkney's lack of decent fast food outlets, people who take Orkney sport so seriously, people who can't let go of the past, when the football season ends, new punk rock, bands whose lead singer growls down the mic for the whole song and lead guitar never gets off full gain and plays no more than three chords. Yes Oasis have had a few 3 or 4 chord songs but at least they have some form of melody.
