Wow ... what a day today has been. Slept late which was nice for a change. After I got up, I just relaxed for a while and picked up my apt a little. Then the fun began. I went to the dentist to see about getting my broken tooth fixed finally ... ugh, I need a root canal and a post and crown. As if I am made of money, Oy! It needs to be done though I suppose. While waiting there though I got a call from an insurance quote I recently did online and have an appt set up for next thursday, should save me about $200 every 6 months!!!
After my apt I went to hang out with an old friend, Tom. That was cool. He intro'd me to World of Warcraft and I think I will be hooked now. Then while we were eating at Rocky's, I received a call from my landlord, and she found someone to rent my apt early so I can get out of my lease. That is absolutely awesome! It means I can move over to the duplex with Dave more than a month early ... and save $200 a month on rent. YAY! Maybe I will be able to catch up on bills and make a trip down to Panama sooner than I thought!
Afterwards I drove home through a snowstorm. Yucky!!!! Found out some rather sad news from Mom on the phone durring the drive. My great uncle Roger has stopped his chemo treatments and is going home ... so I don't know how much longer he will be around. Most of you reading this have not heard me talk about my family too much. He is and has been a wonderful and energetic man all of his life. He is someone to look up to as an inspiration for his kindness and caring of everyone whether in the family or community in general. I do not know if I will be able to see him again, but I will miss him very much. I am going to try to plan a trip up to gramma's to spend some time with her soon. I know this has to be very difficult for her.
Well, I will write more later I am sure. Hope to see all of my friends leaving occassional journal entries and photos too =)
