I would like to Thank Our Heavenly Father for the time he has given us to spend and get to know our Loving Mother. And for the rest of the days we will spend Missing Her, I pray that he will give us all, the strength to move on and the Peace we’ll be needing for the rest of the days in our lives to come.

Mother we all know that you are in a better place now, a place full of happiness and joy, a place where you won’t be feeling anymore pain and for that we are happy for you, for that we’ll be strong enough to let you go.

Mother, you have been the Greatest mother of all, you were always there for us, for every problem we faced in Life, you were always there to comfort us and you’d always point us in a direction that lead to our own ‘Peace of Mind’. You had your own demons to fight, and you’d always put them aside just to give us the time we needed to tell you about our own silly little problems.

My first ever memory of you were those days when you and my Dearest Step-Father, Fehoko, would pick me up from Pahu to spend the weekend with you’s. Those were the good days. I’ll never forget crying my heart out everytime you’d drop me back home to Pahu, and I’ll never forget the times when I’d always ask you and Fehoko to spend just another day with you’s when I knew I was suppose to go home that very day. I’ll never forget the day when I told you that if you were to ever Die, that I’d kill myself, and I was only about 5 or 6 years old at the time. How I wish you were here.

You had a wonderful life, as far as I can remember, you were always just this HAPPY person. I loved watching you and Fehoko party til’ the wee hours of the morning. I loved watching you Dance your heart out at functions. I loved it when you and Fehoko used to bring back take-away after a long night OUT PARTYING, and always waking us kids up just to eat with you’s. I remember thinking that I couldn’t wait til’ I was old enough to Party with you’s and have a good time dancing with you, like a maniac, and at the same time…HAVING THE TIME OF OUR LIVES.

I did get old enough, and I hate it that it was only a couple of times that I got to PARTY with you in Tonga, 2001, than I had to head back to Australia, but that last night that we got to Party together, I remember, we were at Blue Pacific, and at one stage we were gonna go off to the loo, on our way there, the song 'GLORIA' by Laura Brannigan came on. I was with my friends Elina and Siosi that night, and yeh, when that song came on, it was like we both 'automatically just forgot that we were on our way to the loo, and instead, sprinted to the stage and DANCED LIKE AS IF IT WAS GONNA BE THE LAST TIME WE'D EVER DANCE. I'm pretty sure everyone around us thought of us as the 'BIGGEST IDIOTS' on the dance floor at that moment...I totally forgot that my friends were there with us, it felt like, it was just the two of us on the dancefloor, and I'm pretty sure that other people would've been thinking that too...'THAT WE WERE HOGGIN' THE DANCEFLOOR. I can still remember it like as if it just happened yesterday. I know that this is the best memory I've got of you and I together.

By the time you got to New Zealand, you were diagnosed with the terrible disease ‘CANCER’. And just like that, my thoughts and dreams of PARTYING with you ever again, went down the drain. But I still had you mom. It was funny watching you sneak a smoke when you weren’t allowed to smoke anymore. I hated having to watch you deteriorate, and I could only imagine how hard it was for my younger brother and sisters and dearest Step-Father, Fehoko, who had to watch as this horrible disease took over your LIFE. Seein' as they were the ones that were there with you, taking care of you, and stuck by you to your very last moments.
