Axl has been down at the studio with Sebastian Bach and his team as they record Bach's new album "Angel Down"

Sebastian Bach, formely of Skid Row, has appeared in stage several times in the past few years with the Gunner's to join Axl in his harmonies. And now it seems Bach is returning the favour.

Axl has been asked not only 1 ...

or 2 ...

but THREE songs!

Axl reported on the GNR official website that he will be singing on "Bitchslap" and "Stuck Inside". He has not named the third song he is to sing on as he says, "It may be taken a bit furthur".

Axl not only got to exercise his oh-so-recognisable vocal chords, but he also got to write a some of the lyrics. "They allowed me the freedom to write my own words and melodies, and although it's only a couple of lines, it really felt great."

Axl went on to say that each song was different and not like any of the style of songs on Chinese Democracy.

"For me, the timing couldn’t be better and I’m quite surprised to be on one song, let alone three!!!"

"Angel Down" is set to be release on the 20th November this year. So for any of you Skid Row/Bach or even Axl fans (well we're all Axl fans on here ) get your pennies at the ready!

I wonder if it will be released before Chinese Democracy?

Well it's been quite a while since I've posted a blog or given any sort of news on all our favourite band Guns n' Roses.
To be honest there hasn't been much news on the band since their tour of Japan ended on 21st July. However, I have remember I haven't reported at all on the Japan tour so here it goes now ... !

To say the Japan tour ran smoothly would be a lie.

As I informed you before the initial tour dates had been postponed due to Tommy Stinson's injury. However, once GNR arrived in Japan all was still not as planned. You couldn't excatly have predicted a typhoon hitting Japan at the same time as GNR stormed the country too ... but it did happen.

Despite the terrible weather though the band and the fans all braved through the amazing 2 hour show in Chiba City. Definitely a sign that Axl has matured a bit ... recalling several moments in the past when Axl stormed off stage at the slightest hiccup or member of the audience heckling him but we love him for it!

After a typhoon you wouldn't expect even more climatic problems but yes ...

First a typhoon and then an earthquake measuring 6.2 on the Richter Scale. However, still GNR braved on, playing all the scheduled dates:

14th July - Chiba City
15th July - Chiba City
17th July - Nagoya
18th July - Tokyo
21st July - Osaka

The final concert fo the tour in Osaka is reported to have been the longest and the best gig of the Japan Tour.

The originally 2 hour set ran over time with GNR playing all their greatest hits and their new songs (which we will hopefully be hearing soon on Chinese Democracy! ) :

Robin Finck even jumped off stage during "Nightrain" and ran all the way to back of the venue!

At the end of the gig Axl thanked the whole of Japan for their endless support and memorable shows.

The official Guns n' Roses website quotes that every show on the Japan tour was "unique and every show was scorching"

The Gunners are well on their way back to the top of rock!

What about a UK tour anytime soon Axl?

For those of you who have not heard of Live Earth, it is basically the same concept as Live 8, but it is raising money for climate problems, rather than poverty.

AS with Live 8, Live Earth will be taking place all over the World, with concerts taking place London, New York, Rio de Janeiro, Johannesburg, Shanghai, Tokyo and Sydney.

These have all been confirmed on the charity's official site - www.liveearth.org

GNR are possibly going to headline the Hamburg concert - this has not been confirmed by the official site, but remember Live 8 took place almost EVERYWHERE! so there will definitely be more concerts in Europe.

Shakira and Pink are also rumoured to play along with Guns n' Roses
