Rowing is a funny old sport. To be quite honest, most of the time rowers hate it. You get up disgustingly early in the morning in the biting cold simply to nacker youself in a boat for 2 hour and a half hours whilst being shouted at by an ex-rower in a "safety" boat. However, somehow we manage to love it due to one simple fact. The feeling when you have just used every ounce of your miserable sleep deprived bodies energy to beat another like minded idiot in a boat is the best feeling known to man and women. Plus it gives you damn good muscle tonage and something to do on a sunday.

Stroke: sits at the front and looks pretty
Bow: has an amazing talent for finding floating trees, banks, other boats, etc
Single Scullers: antisocial bastards
Indoor Rowers: mental
Cox: bossy git who sits in the boat watching ppl row whilst shouting very loudly at rowers nd steers a bit

You don't mind walking in frozen bird poo barefoot
