Hey there folks, a very sad sharky here.
I stand here now in singapore airport, on the same terminal i used to write my first aussie blog all those months ago. I thought it fitting that i use this one for the last one. This has been the most fantastic experiance of my life, and i have left many friends behind (you all know who you are) but it is now time to get back to reality.
As one door closes, another one opens...
Anyway i'll keep this brief as i'll no doubt be home before most of you read this. And then you'll get to hear it all from the horses mouth. Or should that be sharks mouth?...
Anyhoo guys an gals i got a plane to catch. Speak to you all very soon.

Nimrod adventure, one killer trip!!
Hey there folks, the shark man is here!!
Just returned today from a mega trip up to the coral sea on the Nimrod Explorer. Was out at sea for 6 days cruising around the best dive sites on the outer reef, including Pixie pinical, lighthouse bommie, steves bommie, the cod hole and many more.
Chalked up another 23 dives, so up to 93 now! WOOO!!!
Fish dived with this time...
1. Wobbegong sharks. Well camoflaged little critters who live on the bottom. 2.5 metres i reckon
2. More turtles. Always fun.
3 Giant Potato cod. Groovy, massive fish which are really freindly.
4. Flame file shell. The electric disco clam. Uses electricty to kill. Is very cool
5. Lionfish. Very cool, and more of them than u can shake a stick at.
6. Loads of other sharks. Jim in heavon.
And lots, lots more besides, but the creature that probably made the trip was diving an snorkling with dwarf minke whales!! These huge creatures hung out behind our boat for days, we saw 15 in total!!
Excellent trip!! But i'll prob tell u all in person as i come home in.....3 days. Not lookin forward to it, but hey back to reality i guess.

As the time draws near...
Hey there folkies, a rather sombre sharkman here.
My time in australia is drawing to a close.
However, there is still a few weeks left, plenty of time for diving and drinking (not at the same time now kids)
Also, just booked my mega dive, so will be spending a week on the reef. Goin up with the nimrod explorer to the osprey reef an the down along the ribbon reefs. Gonna be farkin sweet!
But i must dash now friends, gotta shoot to work.

Not that far south right now - picking fruit in Bundaberg - sucks ass and would rather be diving...scuba ir sky - just re-looked at your pics and still got shivers! Good luck with the rest of your masters exams x
