When I Say I'm A Chrisian...376 weeks ago
 
when I say "im a Christian", im nt shouting im clean livin.
im whispering I was lost, nw im found n forgiven.

when I say "I'm a Christian", I dnt speak of dis wit pride.
im confessing dat I stumble n need Christ 2b my guide.

when I say "im a Christian", im nt trying 2b strong.
im professing dat im weak n need His strength 2 carry on.

when I say "im a Christian", im nt bragging of success.
im admitting I have failed n need God 2 clean my mess.

when I say "im a Christian", im nt claiming 2b perfect.
my flaws r far 2 visible but, God believes Im worth it.

when I say "im a Christian", I still feel the sting of his pain.
I have my share of heartaches so I call upon His name.

when I say "im a Christian", im nt holier than thou.
im jst a simple sinner who received God's good grace, somehow.
